FM 55 at Chambers Creek, Ellis County, Texas.

This bridge structure was scheduled for replacement due to heavy maintenance costs.  HHR’s tasks included hydrologic studies, hydraulics design and scour analysis, including main channel and relief bridge.  Before construction could commence, the structure experienced catastrophic failure as seen in the photo.
