College Street at San Gabriel River, Georgetown, Texas.

The City of Georgetown planned to construct a new bridge along College Street at the San Gabriel River, along with related road improvements. HHR was retained to prepare hydrologic analysis and hydraulics design, scour analysis, floodplain impact study, analysis of floodway revisions, and CLOMR request.  Related drainage engineering included storm sewer improvements, culvert design, Water Pollution Abatement Plan (WPAP), Bioretention Pond design for water quality Best Management Practices (BMP).  We coordinated with City FPA, FEMA’s review contractor, and state agencies.
